Hi, I’m Jordan…
…and I am an Agile practitioner and software developer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I currently spend most of my time doing a mix of Agile consulting, coaching, and training throughout Wisconsin.
In my spare time, you will probably find me exploring, flying drones, capturing aerial photography, geeking out over new technology, riding motorcycles, or reading/writing about whatever topics have piqued my interest.
About JordanJob.me
JordanJob.me is my personal blog where I share my thoughts on life, work, and play. I launched this blog in March 2015 with a focus on Agile software development. Throughout the following year, I found myself frequently wanting to write about more than just Agile software development, so in December 2016 I broadened the focus of this blog to what it should have been from the start – a blog where I can share my interests, experiences, and passions. I have three primary goals for this blog:
- Inspire others that are walking similar paths as me who can learn from my experience.
- Provide practical advice and resources for topics that I am passionate about (Agile, aerial photography, MBTI, etc).
- Build my writing skills. This is a selfish goal, but I enjoy writing and want to continually improve at it.

Professional Experience
I am a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) at Scrum.org, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, PSM II, PSM III), Professional Scrum Developer (PSD), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Web Applications). I have worked in the information technology departments of finance, healthcare, transportation, and a variety of insurance organizations as a software development consultant, Scrum Master, and Agile consultant.
My technical expertise is in C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, CSS, unit testing, and responsive web design using frameworks like Twitter Bootstrap and Zurb Foundation. I am proficient in a number of other technologies, but I do not think there is much of a point in listing a bunch of technologies that will be outdated by next year.
